Q: What does the credit system simplification involve?
A: We are merging the two current types of image generation credits (Creation and Editing) into a single unified credit. You will have only one overall credit balance to use for Seelab’s image generation features—whether creating new visuals or editing existing ones. Credits for video generation and training are not affected by this update.
Q: Why did Seelab decide to merge the credits?
A: This decision was made to simplify the user experience and offer greater flexibility. The previous system, with separate categories, could cause confusion or frustration if you didn’t use one of the categories as much. By unifying the credits, your usage becomes more flexible — this improvement was requested by many users to increase ease of use and creativity on the platform.
Q: When will the change take place?
A: The credit merge will be effective from the third week of July 2025. Specifically, as soon as the update is deployed, your account will show a unified credit balance. You will receive a confirmation email on the day the new system goes live.
Q: What happens to my current credits (Creation and Editing)? Will I lose any?
A: Rest assured, you will not lose any credits during this process. 😊 All credits you have accumulated will be converted 100% into unified credits. The total of your unified credits will exactly equal the sum of your previous Creation + Editing credits. For example, if you had 120 Creation credits and 80 Editing credits, you will have 200 unified credits after the transition. There is no loss in value nor any change in your credit acquisition rate: credits included in your monthly subscription will remain the same amount.
Q: Will this impact my subscription or the service price?
A: No, your subscription remains unchanged. The credit merge does not affect your plan price or credit renewals. This is an internal improvement of the credit system with no changes to your subscription terms. You will pay the same rate as before, just with an optimized experience.
Q: Do I need to do anything special for this transition?
A: No, no action is required on your part. The transition is handled by Seelab. Your credits will be converted automatically. Just continue using Seelab as usual. If you don’t immediately see the change, try logging out and back in, or refreshing the page if needed.
Q: Where can I see my unified credits in the interface?
A: On your organization dashboard, the “Creation” and “Editing” sections are now replaced by a single overall balance. This number represents your total unified credits. In the app menu, a credit counter will always be accessible so you can keep track of your balance.
