# Credits system

At Seelab, we've simplified the way our platform is used by clearly structuring credits into three distinct categories, each tailored for specific usage: image generation, model training, and video generation.

###### What is a credit?

Credits are associated with predefined limits tied to the different features available within your organization. They help manage and optimize resource usage effectively and fairly for all members.

## The 3 types of credits

###### Image Generation Credits

These credits cover all operations related to creating and editing images. They form a single, global balance allowing you to create new images or edit existing ones. These credits renew automatically each month as part of your subscription.

###### Model Training Credits

Model training credits allow you to create customized models tailored to your specific needs. Each month, you receive a set number of credits based on your subscription, representing the maximum number of active models you can simultaneously maintain. If you reach this limit, you'll need to either wait for your monthly renewal or remove an existing model to train a new one.
If your needs exceed your monthly quota, you can purchase additional training credits via specific packs available directly in your user interface. These on-demand credits do not expire, providing you additional flexibility.

###### Video Generation Credits

Video credits are specifically dedicated to creating short videos from your visuals. Unlike other credits, these do not renew automatically each month; instead, you must purchase them separately through video credit packs available on-demand in your user space.

## Monitoring Your Credit Usage

Your menu dashboard clearly displays the balances for each credit type, providing a simple and effective way to monitor your usage. A credit counter is permanently accessible from your organization's page, keeping you informed of your current credit status.

1. Go to the [Organization](https://app.seelab.ai/settings/organization) section of your space.
2. Click the **Usages** tab.
3. You'll find a clear overview of your current consumption and available limits.

###### Monthly Credit Renewal

Your image generation and model training credits are automatically renewed each month on the anniversary date of your subscription. Unused credits are not carried over to the next month.

You can easily replenish your model training and video credit balances by purchasing additional packs directly from your user space or by visiting this page: [https://app.seelab.ai/pricing/packages]()

###### Exceeding Your Quota

If you're nearing or exceeding your quota:
* The quota indicator will show an alert.
* You can adjust your subscription or contact support to extend your quotas according to your needs.
