# Composer: layers, blending and PSD export

In the Composer, each element lives on its own layer. **Blending** then integrates each product into the setting: lighting, reflections, shadows and colors are harmonized, and the product stays accurate. At the end, you export a layered Photoshop file or send the composition to another Seelab tool.

# Example: three products in a 16:9 setting

A 1920 × 1080 px canvas, a travertine setting and three cut-out products.

# Layers

* **Add a layer** opens the Resource Hub to add an image: setting, product, character.
* **Move, resize, align** each layer directly on the canvas.
* **Remove background** cuts out a layer (2 credits).
* The **Layers** panel, on the right, lists the layers: reorder them to change their display order.

# Blending

1. **Select a product's layer.**
2. **Click blend.** Seelab creates a **Fusion** layer that integrates the product into the scene (up to 7 credits).
3. **Compare the result.** **retry** generates another version; **Unblend** goes back.
4. **Repeat** for each product.

| Blend products one at a time, and make sure the background layer's **blend** button isn't triggered by mistake.

**If the blend isn't right**: run it again with **retry**, or undo it with **Unblend**, adjust the layer's position or size, then blend again.

# Export

* **Download all** downloads the composition:
  * as a **.ZIP**, with the images;
  * as a **.PSD**, a Photoshop file where each Composer layer stays a separate layer.
* **Use composition in** sends the composition to **Edit**, **Reframe**, **Magnify** or **Video** to keep going: retouching, format variations, upscaling or animation.

**Useful when:**

* your studio wants to review or retouch layer by layer in Photoshop: export as **.PSD**;
* the visual must exist in several formats: send it to **Reframe**;
* you want a product video from the composition: send it to **Video**.

# Glossary
