Composer

Introduction

Composer lets you create professional packshots and lifestyle visuals by assembling your assets — scene background, product photo, generated visuals — in an AI-powered layer editor. Import your images, activate Blend, and in a few seconds get a visual where lights, shadows, and colors are perfectly harmonized. No Photoshop expertise required.

Key concepts

• Layer — each element of the composition lives on its own layer: independently movable, resizable, lockable, and blendable.
• Blend — the action that marks a layer to be integrated by the AI (green badge). The AI-generated layer that integrates the product into the scene (harmonized light, shadows, color, and edges).

Creating your first composition

1. Import your background and your product — via + Add a layer or by drag-and-drop. Each image appears in a separate layer in the right-hand panel.
2. Select the product layer — click the layer on the canvas or in the panel. A contextual toolbar appears.
3. Run the Blend — a Blend layer appears. The AI generates the blend (status "creating"), then the final result displays in a few seconds.
4. Try again if needed — click Re-blend on the Blend layer to regenerate and compare several variations.

Starting a composition

Two modes at launch:

• Start with images — drag and drop one or more images directly onto the canvas. Useful when your assets are already prepared.
• Start with an empty canvas — choose a preset format (1:1, 9:16, 16:9) or custom dimensions (W × H px), then click Create composition. Useful when you're starting from a specific destination format (post, story, banner).

Working with layers

The right-hand panel lists all the layers in the composition, just like in design software: reorder them by drag-and-drop, lock them, or delete them freely.
Three types of layers:

• Background — the base layer (color, gradient, or image)
• Image layer — product photos, generated visuals, style elements
• Blend layer — the AI-generated blend layer

When a layer is selected, the contextual bar offers: Blend (activate AI integration), Mask (isolate the subject), Lock (prevent accidental changes), and advanced options (…).

The AI Blend

Blend integrates your product into the scene by automatically adjusting:

• Light — the product's lighting aligns with the background's light source
• Shadows — realistic cast and contact shadows
• Color — the product's tones harmonize with the scene
• Edges — softened according to the background's depth of field

Exporting your composition

The export panel is at the bottom right. Click Download all to download (use the button's arrow to switch formats):

• .ZIP — each layer as a high-resolution PNG + the flattened master image. Useful for sharing or uploading directly into a CMS.
• .PSD — a fully layered Photoshop file: each Composer layer becomes a PSD layer. Useful for fine retouching or layer-by-layer validation against your brand guidelines.

The Use composition in menu sends the composition directly to other Seelab modules (Creation, Workflow) for AI generation or batch production.

Tips & troubleshooting

• Use high-resolution product photos (min. 1000 × 1000 px) for optimal blending.
• Choose a background with clear, realistic lighting — Blend uses it as a reference for shadow direction.
• Lock the Background layer before manipulating the other elements.
• Blend result not quite right? Run Re-blend 2–3 times: results vary with each generation.
• For a more faithful blend, generate your product visual with your custom model first, then import it into Composer.
